is a special cultural event commemorating the hosting of the 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee session in Busan, bringing together the Republic of Korea's World Heritage, Intangible Heritage, and Memory of the World in one place. Held at Busan BEXCO in July 2026, this event will present a diverse range of programs planned around "the value of the Republic of Korea's heritage recognized by the world." In the exhibition space, visitors will be offered an immersive experience starting with a themed hall introducing the country's 17 World Heritage sites, along with a Memory of the World exhibition, a national heritage media art exhibition, and a visit campaign experience. In addition, on-site programs will include the gate guard changing ceremony reenacting the dignity of the Joseon Dynasty, as well as Intangible Heritage performances and demonstrations where visitors can directly feel the breath of artisans. Visitors from around the world will also be welcomed with abundant content that allows them to experience national heritage in a more familiar way, including the "K-Goods Shop," where they can find traditional souvenirs with sophisticated designs.

ASIAF 100 2026 is an art fair hosted by The Chosun Ilbo Co., Ltd., organized by the Chosun Ilbo Cultural Business Division, and held at ACS (Art Chosun Space). A total of 100 young artists aged 19 to 39 with Asian nationality are selected to present around 300 works. The exhibition period is July 1, 206 (Wed) to August 5 (Wed), and it is operated in two parts: Part 1 (July 1 to July 16) and Part 2 (July 21 to August 5). Viewing hours are 10 AM to 6 PM. Since its first edition in 2008, ASIAF, now in its 19th edition, has served as a gateway to discovering future masters first and as a cradle of K-ART, and this year’s newly transformed “ASIAF 100” introduces 100 even more thoroughly vetted young artists. Among the 100 young artists selected through jury evaluation, a total of 10 will be awarded through visitor voting, with 5 winners chosen from each of Part 1 and Part 2.

Naora Show - Night of Light Show is a show where, under the theme of "Come out to Ganhyeon and enjoy the night of light," visitors can enjoy a night full of special memories and romance at Ganhyeon Tourist Site, where gently flowing river water and rocky cliffs come together to create a spectacular view, while taking in the beautiful nighttime lighting and mysterious stories accompanied by beautiful music. Part 1, 'Prologue: NAORA LIVE,' consisting of busking, instrumental performances, dance, and more, serves as an introductory performance that builds up the atmosphere before the main show begins, while Part 2, 'Finale: NAORA SHOW 2026,' is the main performance combining a media facade and a musical fountain to present dazzling nighttime media art. The media facade brings vivid imagery to life on a natural rock cliff measuring 250m wide and 70m high using 12 beam projectors and 7 laser devices, and the musical fountain provides visitors with an immersive nighttime performance experience through water jets soaring up to 60m high and a variety of productions.

The permanent performance by the Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe is one of Anseong City's representative cultural contents, and has been presented since 2003. The 2026 permanent performance "Gombaengi Teotda" by the Anseong Municipal Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe, which represents Anseong City, is a show presented under the subtitle "The Excitement of the Marketplace, Shaking Gyeongbokgung!" that reinterprets the six acts, the essence of Namsadang nori, with a modern sensibility. The performance takes place every Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM for about 90 minutes at the Anseong Namsadang Performance Hall. It is filled with a wide variety of spectacles, including lively pungmul featuring the harmony of the taepyeongso and kkwaenggwari, eoreum (tightrope walking), where performers exchange thrilling acrobatics and witty banter atop a 3 m-high rope, beona plate-spinning, and salpan ground acrobatics.

The ‘DDP Architecture Tour’ is conducted around the space where you dream (Dream), create (Design), and enjoy (Play) at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). It is a program that explores the history and significance of the Dongdaemun area where DDP is located, centered on the architecture designed by Zaha Hadid, together with a guide. The operating schedule runs regularly from Tuesday to Sunday, and it is closed every Monday as well as on New Year’s Day, Seollal, and Chuseok. The operating times are Session 1 at 10:30 (Korean), Session 2 at 13:30 (English), and Session 3 at 15:30 (Korean). The tour location is the Tour Desk on the 1st floor of the DDP Museum, and the duration is approximately 60 minutes. Participants must be age 13 (middle school students) or older, and those under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. Participation is available through online reservation and on-site registration. The “Seoul Royal Palace Gate Guards Changing Ceremony” is a representative traditional culture reenactment event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and it is a program that vividly brings to life the scene of the changing of the guards by the Sumungun, who guarded the palace gates during the Joseon Dynasty. The Sumunjang was an official position of the jong 6-pum rank, and together with the chamha and Sumungun belonging to the Sumunjangcheong, they guarded the palace gates, controlled entry and exit, and carried out patrols. The changing ceremony was organized based on actual historical records and unfolds centered on Deoksugung during the late Joseon period. The event is held 6 days a week, excluding every Monday, at 11 AM and 2 PM in front of Daehanmun Gate of Deoksugung. To increase the interest of ordinary citizens and foreign tourists, various hands-on experience programs are also operated together: the “Gaesiktago Experience” lets participants beat the drum themselves to announce the start of the ceremony, “I, Too, am a Sumunjang” is a program where participants wear a Sumunjang uniform and experience the role, and the “Traditional Costume Experience” is a popular activity where visitors can wear Joseon-era clothing and take photos.
