1. Hanbok Experience

Hanbok rental shops surround Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, and Jeonju Hanok Village. Rentals cost about ₩10,000-20,000 for 1-2 hours. Some palaces and museums offer free entry to hanbok wearers. Add hair styling and accessory packages for better photos.

2. Pottery Experience

Icheon and Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province are Korea's pottery heartlands. Icheon Cerapia and the Yeoju Ceramics Festival offer hands-on workshops. In Seoul, studios near Insadong and Hongdae run 1-2 hour pottery classes.

3. Hanji (Korean Paper) Crafts

Jeonju is the home of traditional hanji paper. Visit the Jeonju Hanji Museum to see how it's made and try the craft yourself. Hanji notebooks, postcards, and gifts make unique souvenirs.

4. Traditional Food Making

Kimchi making, tteok (rice cake) crafting, and traditional tea ceremonies are available in Seoul, Jeonju, and other cities. Search and book programs via the Visit Korea app (visitkorea.or.kr).

5. Folk Villages and Museums

Yongin Korean Folk Village recreates Joseon-era village life with traditional games and performances. The National Folk Museum of Korea (inside Gyeongbokgung) is excellent for understanding Korean history and customs.
